Yugoslavian Fingers Squash seeds
This squash originates from Yugoslavia and is one of the most unique and semi-rare squash. This white squash has 8-10 fingers that start at the base and extend out the top. This squash grows in a bush-like fashion, similar to a patty-pan.
The flavor has been described as mild and similar to an artichoke. Yugoslavian finger squash is great for stuffing as this will showcase its unique shape at the dinner table.
If picked early, these are tender and delicious. If you leave them on the vine to grow to their full size, they make stunning Fall ornamentals. After cutting them from the vine, you just need to let them cure for a few days. These store well over the winter as well. Each squash will weigh between 4-5 lbs. and be close to the size of a small canteloupe.
