Tendersweet Watermelon seeds
Tendersweet is an open-pollinated heirloom watermelon with very sweet, very orange flesh. The flavor has been described as superior to traditional red store varieties with the flesh being crisper. The thick rind of this variety also makes it sturdier for shipping, keeping, or selling at flea markets/farmers' markets. Each melon can weigh between 30-35 pounds respectively.
This is a refreshing summer treat when eaten fresh but can be cut into pieces and made into popsicles, blended into drinks, or sorbets.
