Ruby Snapdragon seeds
Ruby snapdragons are a great addition to any garden. These towering beauties are a deep burgundy almost red-wine color. These are best used as accent pieces in flower beds. The Ruby snapdragon looks best when planted next to deep purple or black varieties of flowers.
Snapdragons can get tall. This variety is about 3' h x 8-12" w. The flowers form a cone on top with the bottom blooms opening fully at first, and then more immature blooms transition to the top. As the immature blooms begin to open, the more mature blooms will begin to fall.
Snapdragons are edible and make creative garnishes on salads or in soups. The flavor is bitter but floral. These are also ideal for attracting butterflies, and hummingbirds. This is an annual plant that requires full sun and proper spacing. Blooms emerge between 12-14 weeks.
