Mammoth sunflower seeds

SKU: MS1097

This is a big one!  The Mammoth Sunflower is a towering single-stem sunflower that can reach upwards of 9-12 feet tall with a head that can reach about 20 inches in diameter. The head is edible and is best when it is slightly dried out while the seeds are still soft. It is said the seeds are mild in flavor but very nutty.

These are extremely low maintenance and don't need very fertile soil. This large bloom acts as a huge bullseye, or antenna for pollinators, butterflies, and bees. This is also resistant to many diseases.
