Fireweed flower seeds
This member of the evening primrose family is an herbaceous perennial that thrives along walkways, open grassy or meadow-type areas, and along rivers and creeks. Although these resemble tall magenta flames, the flower actually earned its name because after wildfires clear out forests, these flowers are the first to re-emerge afterward. Think of them as nature's "phoenix" as the forest starts to heal and regrow.
These are perennials, they will return year after year to greet you each spring. They are powerful pollinator attractors. Apart from their beautiful blooms, they are also edible. The benefits of consuming fireweed may include inflammation, wound healing, and assistance with fevers, amongst many other benefits.
These are container friendly and can be overwintered indoors. These also do well in window boxes and areas with rocky soil.
