Chervil seeds

Chervil, also known as French parsley or gourmet parsley, holds a revered status in French cuisine as an indispensable herb, frequently featured in the fines herbes blend. Resembling parsley in appearance, its leaves boast a remarkable and delicate anise flavor that sets it apart. Beyond its culinary appeal, chervil acts as a magnet for beneficial insects, making it a valuable addition to any garden.

The fresh chervil leaves exquisitely elevate salads, imparting a refreshing touch. They also work wonders when sprinkled over succulent fish or delectable cuts of meat, and for the adventurous, adding a dash of chervil to tomato juice unlocks a delightful fusion of flavors. To thrive, chervil prefers cool temperatures, as excessive heat can prompt bolting. Though generally cultivated as an annual, it can exhibit biennial behavior in the USDA zones 6-9.
