Carnival F1 Pumpkin seeds
The Carnival F1 pumpkin is gorgeous and absolutely delicious. The Carnival F1 Pumpkin is a hybrid of the Sweet Dumpling squash and the Acorn squash. This squash has a ballet of oranges, greens, yellows, and cream hues on the surface. Over time, the green will subside, leaving only oranges, yellows, and cream colors. The bottom will always sport a dark green hue.
The skin is thin and edible on this variety, and the flavor has been described as nutty, buttery, and almost maple-like. The texture is drier than Butternut squash but not as dry as Kabocha. This is exquisite when grilled, roasted, or pan-fried with butter and a little maple syrup glaze to compliment the variety of flavors this pumpkin/squash has to offer.
The skin is edible so no need to peel anything. This is a semi-bush plant so vines will be thicker but shorter. Due to the thickness of the vines, these will need to be planted with a generous amount of space between other plants. These can be trellised or even tied to a stake or pole so they grow straight up!
