Big Max Pumpkin seeds

SKU: 3485890

The Big Max pumpkin was originally grown for its size and ample amounts of edible flesh. The Big Max pumpkin was believed to have been grown from selected seeds in the early 1900s by William Warnock in Goderich, Ontario. Unlike a lot of other giant pumpkins that have a flattened or odd shape, the Big Max holds a truly rounded shape.

The Big Max has smooth, light-orange skin and is perfect for Halloween carving or for Fall displays. To achieve maximum size, grow one pumpkin per vine, water, and fertilize regularly. Excellent for canning and making pies (a lot of them) If you're looking to break the bank with a bake sale, this is the pumpkin for you.

The vines can reach 10'– 15'. Big max pumpkins can get to be around 20" in diameter and between 100 - 200 pounds.
