Yellow Crookneck Squash seeds
Behold the beauty of Zephyr F1 Hybrid squash, a perfect solution for gardeners with limited space. This exceptional squash is a harmonious blend of yellow crookneck, Delicata, and yellow acorn squash, resulting in a distinctive and slender vegetable that embodies the best of all three varieties. While optimal when picked on the smaller side, Zephyr squash remains equally delicious when allowed to mature a bit more.
These do incredible in raised beds, and containers. They take up a bit of space so if you have raised beds that are smaller, try them in a container or grow bag, that way you can move it wherever you need to, freeing up real estate for plenty of smaller vegetables, to grow. If you clip the leaves from the bottom of this squash going upwards, you can actually grow these vertically. It is a bush-type squash, but the leaves are on a thick vine. You can put a t-post in the ground, and tie it to the t-post allowing it to grow upwards. This will prevent powdery mildew, and some pests, and provide more airflow.
These will need full sun. They grow very quickly so make sure wherever you sow your seeds or transplant them, they have plenty of room to grow. Each squash will range 6" but can get bigger if left on the vine. The plant itself can get up to 3 ft wide and 2 ft tall.
