Oaxacan Green Corn seeds
Originating from the Oaxacan region of Mexico, the Oaxacan green corn (Oaxacan green dent corn) is an heirloom variety grown for its beauty and culinary usage in the kitchen. For centuries local Oaxacans cultivated this corn to grind into flour to make tortillas, tamales and also to feed their livestock. Nowadays this can be used for consumption or for ornamental implementation.
The corn is a brilliant monochromatic spectrum of green hues. Cobs can range from 8 in-10in. Stalks can reach 6-10 ft. As with most corn, this can be used for growing the 3 sisters' method of gardening.
