Lavender seeds (Angustifolia)

Lavender is a well-known and popular evergreen perennial classified as a flower or herb. Lavender has been a beneficial aid in combating insomnia, anxiety, and several other afflictions. Lavender has been prized as a highly medicinal plant, striking ornamental, or culinary herb. In addition to its many benefits, Lavender continues to be popular with candles, soap, and winemakers. We have even enjoyed lavender boba tea and lavender ice cream at a couple of places near where we live. 
 
There are several varieties of Lavender, this one being the Angustifolia variety. To be candid, lavender can be tricky to grow from seed as it can be finicky if the conditions aren't just right. We encourage those who try these to try a little pinch at a time. That way, you can have multiple chances to grow your lavender. Once you grow it, all your patience will pay off, and you will have fresh fragrant lavender year after year. These will require cold stratification unless you sow in the late fall or winter.
