Kikyo-Zaki Japanese Morning Glory seeds
These enchanting morning glories have a deep and rich history in Japan where morning glories' popularity reaches its zenith. The Japanese have festivals and even stores that only sell morning glories! This particular variety is sought after and in my own opinion, one of the more beautiful and elegant. These deep intense blue blooms are a slightly trumpeted shape and suggest a more starlike shape as they extend. A crisp white border accentuates the bloom and enhances the visual appeal of this variety.
The greatest thing about the Kikyo-Zaki and every variety of morning glory is that they prefer soil that isn't nutrient-rich, they love soil on the drier side, and they are happy with just a full sun area. These will sprawl and climb up to 10 feet. Any trellis, tree, etc will prove an excellent playground for these guys.
