Galeux D Eysine pumpkin seeds
This heirloom winter squash originates from Eysines, France, and is from the 19th century. Galeux D Eysine has pink to tan tone skin covered with crusty bumps. This has helped it earn its name the Peanut Pumpkin. This squash can get to be around 10-20 lbs. While it ripens, the sugars inside will concentrate and seep out of the pumpkin, forming peanut-like protrusions. The longer you let it grow, the bumpier it will get. The sweetness will also significantly increase. The flavor can be best described as a cross between a sweet potato and an apple.
