The Funnel Cake (F1) hybrid is a new variety for this season. Each pumpkin is a squatty, flat, stacker-type pumpkin with marbling of pink and blue. The surface is smooth and Large, flat, lobed fruit great for stacking. The surface will vary with different crusted "peanut" type lesion intensities. If you have ever grown the Galeux d'Eysines pumpkin, you will recognize these sugary deposits on the outside of the skin. Each fruit can weigh close to 30 lbs with an average height of 8" and a diameter of 15-16". This variety has a resistance to powdery mildew.
