Crystal White Wax Onion seeds (short day)
Bite-sized bliss! Crystal White Wax onions are pearl-type onions perfect for soups, stews, kababs, and pickling. These are a short-day variety, so they will thrive in southern regions. These are mild in flavor and can grow to be up to 3-3.5" in diameter, but they can be harvested when they are around 1-1.5" when they are more tender.
Our favorite quality about the White Wax Pearl onion is its ability to be interplanted with other vegetable varieties. They are extremely compact, meaning you can fit them in between other vegetables and they won't overshade them. It's a great way to grow onions if you don't have a lot of room.
