Blue Doll F1 pumpkin seeds
Our personal favorite! Blue Doll F1 pumpkins are a botanic cousin to the Pink Doll. These deeply ribbed pumpkins are not only a unique accent to your pumpkin patch or Fall displays, but they are also edible and resistant to powdery mildew.
Blue dolls are great for soups, desserts, and pastries. The color can range from a beautifully marbled grey-blue to a slightly brighter teal-blue depending on growth factors and size. The flesh tastes like a traditional pumpkin with a subtle honey nuance. Blue doll pumpkins have a unique shape as they are a bit flatter and blockier than your traditional pumpkin.
Vines can reach 10- 12 feet. These will grow in garden soil, potting soil, and loamy well-draining soil. These can be started indoors, but start 2 weeks prior to the last frost date.
