Wildflowers that attract beneficial bugs.

Beneficial bugs wildflower seed mix

SKU: 344730M

This seed mix will help build a fortress around your garden complete with an army of beneficial insects. This blend is perfectly blended to attract lacewings, lady beetles, hoverflies, syrphid flies, and parasitic wasps. These beneficial bugs eat the bugs that attack your plants. All of these bugs eat the bad guys like aphids, gnats, etc.

Planting these around the perimeter of your garden will attract enough of the good guys to keep the bad guys from eating and infesting your veggies. You will have a rainbow of colors around your garden with the pot of gold being your safe and sound crop. A little bonus as well, this mix also contains dill and cilantro. These are powerful attractors of beneficial insects, but why not use a little for yourself as well?

Due to the immense variety of seeds in this mix, the maturity date will vary for each kind of flower. These can be sprinkled on the ground in Spring, or sprinkled on the ground in late fall so they can bloom the first thing the following spring.

Seeds in this mix: Bergamot, Bishop’s Flower, Black-Eyed Susan, California Poppy, Candytuft, Cilantro, Dill, Dwarf Cosmos, Fennel, Gayfeather, Globe Gilia, Indian Blanket, Lance-Leaved Coreopsis, Purple Prairie Clover, Rockcress, Shasta Daisy, Siberian Wallflower, Baby Blue Eyes and Sweet Alyssum
