Please Read Before Placing Orders To Canada

• Small Vegetable Seeds:

  • Ship freely up to 500 grams (1.1 lbs).

  • Includes: Tomato, pepper, broccoli, cabbage, lettuce, celery, carrot, onion, etc. (see comprehensive list)

• Large Vegetable Seeds:

  • Ship freely up to 5 kilograms (11 lbs).

  • Includes: Grains (wheat, rye, barley), peas, beans, corn, cantaloupe, pumpkin, chard, beet, radish, etc. (see comprehensive list)

• Flower & Herb Seeds:

  • Ship freely in any quantity.

• Grains (Wheat, Barley, Oat, Rye, etc.):

  • Require a Phytosanitary Certificate.

  • Certificate per order, even with multiple items.

  • May delay shipment by up to 4 weeks.

• Hard Goods:

  • Ship freely (e.g., sprouters, growing trays).

  • No restrictions if seed/soil-free.

• Fertilizers (e.g., Azomite, Mittleider):

  • Ship freely up to 10 kilograms.

• Kits:

  • Typically ship freely (small seed quantities).

  • For orders with multiple kits, call us to confirm.

• Herb & Flower Seeds: Can be shipped to Canada in any quantity without requiring additional testing or certification.

• Vegetable Seeds:

  • Small quantities (up to 0.5 kg for small seeds, 5 kg for large seeds) can be shipped without a certificate.

  • Larger quantities require a Canada Seed Analysis Certificate (SAC) for each variety exceeding the small lot limit.

  • Example: An order with 5 varieties, 3 under 0.5 kg and 2 over 5 kg, needs 2 SACs (one for each variety exceeding the limit).

  • Obtaining an SAC may delay your order by up to 4 weeks.

• Grains (Wheat, Barley, Oat, Rye, etc.):

  • Require a phytosanitary certificate for all orders, regardless of quantity.

  • One phytosanitary certificate is needed per order.

  • Obtaining a phytosanitary certificate may delay your order by up to 4 weeks due to required testing.

I fulfill orders as quickly as possible. During peak season, please reference the processing times on the banner on the main page of this website. Please not these are business days, and do not include Saturday and Sunday. Orders placed Friday after 6:00 pm won't be processed until the following Monday (or business days that are applicable). 

Please note that taxes, fees, and duties are NOT included in the price. By choosing USPS (which may involve delivery by Asendia), you understand that Blue Pumpkin Seed Co. is not responsible for any import taxes, duties, or fees that may be assessed by your country's customs upon delivery. You are solely responsible for the payment of these charges.

Orders are shipped via USPS and handed of to either Canada Post or Asendia. As mentioned above, fees, duties, and applicable taxes are not included in the shipping costs. Orders that exceed the 500 gram requirement will need to be shipped in multiple orders. In the event an order is over 500 grams, the customer will be contacted and a shipping arrangement will be verified. Additional shipping for multiple packages will be the responsibility of the customer.  

Shipping costs to Canada depend on weight, box size, delivery address, and other factors. Use the shipping rate preview in your cart to see all available options.

My Guarantee extends to all international orders. However, to return an international order, you will be responsible for the shipping costs. Seeds and goods that are returned must be in unused and sellable condition. For more information see my terms and conditions.
