This is a late update on what we grew in our gardens this past summer.

What we grew from seeds you can find on our website.

An unforeseen family diagnosis we weren't expecting

We wanted to thank everyone for being so patient. Our garden was thriving despite having a late start due to a winter storm. We were hit with some news that stopped everything in its tracks. As a family business, we work as a team to keep things on track and make sure everything is running smoothly. If one of us is out of commission, things become challenging, so we appreciate your patience with the updates.

Getting things back on track

After the diagnosis, I was trying to keep up with the gardens, make sure orders were getting out, try to keep up on social media, harvest & clean seeds, etc. I know there were a few hiccups with orders, and I thank those who may have been impacted. All efforts were exhausted to make sure things were corrected. We had our first frost around Oct. 20th everything had succumbed to the frost. We are playing cleanup now (it's a huge undertaking), but we will have some seed start posts soon. If anyone has any questions about your seeds or needs help with anything, please reach out to us via chat or email us at info@bluepumpkinseedco.com. .

Thank you everyone for your patience while we navigate through everything. Back in August my spouse was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer. I've taken on the additional roll of caregiver while also managing the site and shop. We are remaining optimistic and we thank you for your support and patience with everything.

We will have pictures and updates after things settle a bit. Orders will be going out within the time promised. If you have any questions, please use the chat feature or email us at info@bluepumpkinseedco.com. Thank you again for your support and understanding. 🙏❤️🌱

Everything is in full swing! Sunflowers are opening, pumpkins are producing blossoms, we have some summer squash ready, and lots of stuff growing! We have been very fortunate not to have 6-7 bad hail storms by now. We are, however, unfortunate to have higher than normal temperatures and less rain than what we are accustomed to. Our pumpkin patch is suffering, but we are trying to pull through. Extra compost, extra mulch, and trying to water 2-3 times per day, etc. We will see how it goes but we do have some pumpkin updates.

End Of July update video

We are hoping by August we will have some pumpkins, tomatoes, chilis, and more flowers to show you. If you have any questions about your seeds or any questions about what you see featured in the videos, please message us, we are always happy to help.

Is the hotter than normal temperatures impacting your gardens as well?

What tips and tricks do you have to help others who may be dealing with the heat? Have you found any plants or vegetables you are growing to be tolerant of the heat?
